Is Caremint free to use?keyboard_arrow_down
Yes — the core app is free forever: reminders, unlimited medicines, loud alarms, your medicine cabinet, water and basic health trackers, and home-screen widgets. No account and no time limit. Premium is an optional subscription for extras (see below).
Are there any ads?keyboard_arrow_down
Never — Caremint has zero ads. Not on the free tier, not on Premium. We don't show ads and we don't sell your data to advertisers. Even if you never subscribe, you will never see a single ad. Your medication list is not a place for advertising, full stop.
What's included in Premium?keyboard_arrow_down
A 7-day free trial, then a subscription unlocks cycle & fertility tracking, AI scan-to-add medicines, adherence reports & PDF export, caregiver missed-dose alerts, and cloud sync & backup. After the trial you keep the free app either way — nothing you added disappears.
Does it really work without internet?keyboard_arrow_down
Completely. Reminders, tracking and your medicine cabinet all run on your phone with no connection. The only features that use the internet are optional: cloud backup & sync, caregiver alerts, and the AI "scan medicine" feature.
Will alarms ring if my phone is on silent?keyboard_arrow_down
Yes. Caremint uses a full-screen alarm with its own audio channel, so it rings through silent mode. On iPhone you can also switch on Critical Alerts for any medicine that matters most — an entitlement Apple grants case by case, which lets those alarms break through the silent switch and Focus. You choose which medicines ring loudly and which stay gentle notifications.
Do I need to create an account?keyboard_arrow_down
No — start with no sign-up, fully offline. An account is only needed for the optional features that sync across devices: cloud backup & sync, and caregiver monitoring.
Where is my data stored, and do you sell it?keyboard_arrow_down
By default, only on your device — nothing leaves your phone unless you turn on cloud backup or caregiver sharing. We never sell your data, show ads, or track you. Optional cloud data is stored securely in Google Firebase. See our
Privacy Policy for the full picture.
How does caregiver monitoring work?keyboard_arrow_down
You invite a family member with a one-time code and approve them. They get read-only access to your medicines and dose history — plus your name and email, so their alerts say who they're for — and a push alert if you miss an important dose. That's everything they can see: never your health measurements, diary, appointments, water logs or cycle data. They can't edit anything, and you can revoke access anytime. (Premium.)
Can I use Caremint on more than one phone?keyboard_arrow_down
Yes — turn on cloud sync (Premium) and your data backs up and stays in sync across your devices. On the free tier, everything lives on your one device.
How does the medicine scan work — is my photo private?keyboard_arrow_down
Point your camera at a medicine box and our AI reads the name and expiry date to fill in the details. Only the photo you choose is sent for reading; it isn't used to train AI models, and nothing else is uploaded. (Premium.)
Can I export or delete my data?keyboard_arrow_down
Anytime. Export a backup file you control, or wipe everything from Settings → "Erase all my data" (or by deleting your account). Because your data is yours, removing it leaves nothing behind.
How do I cancel my subscription?keyboard_arrow_down
On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Caremint → Cancel. On Android: Google Play → Subscriptions → Caremint → Cancel. You keep Premium until the period ends, then drop to the free app — your data stays.
Is Caremint medical advice?keyboard_arrow_down
No. Caremint is a personal reminder and tracking tool, not a medical device, and doesn't provide medical advice or diagnosis. Always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's guidance.
When is the Android version coming?keyboard_arrow_down
Caremint is launching on the App Store first. It is built cross-platform, so the Android version follows on Google Play.
