Terms of Service

Last updated: 4 July 2026

These Terms govern your use of the Caremint app ("App"). By using the App you agree to them.

1. What Caremint is (and isn't)

Caremint is a personal medication-reminder and health-tracking tool, provided for informational purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified doctor or pharmacist. You are responsible for taking your medications as prescribed.

2. Reminders are best-effort

We make no warranty that reminders or alarms will be delivered under all conditions. Device settings, battery optimisation, silent/Do Not Disturb mode, and OS limits can affect delivery. Do not rely on Caremint as the sole means of managing critical medication.

3. Accounts

Some features (cloud backup & sync, caregiver monitoring) require an account. You are responsible for your credentials and activity under your account, must provide accurate information, and be 18 or older.

4. Free tier, Premium & subscriptions

5. Caregiver monitoring

If you invite and approve a caregiver, they get read-only access to your medicines and dose history and may be notified when you miss a dose. You can revoke access at any time. If you act as a caregiver, use another person's data only with their consent and for their benefit.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the App: no reverse engineering, disrupting the service, infringing others' rights, or uploading unlawful content. We may suspend access for violations.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of the data you enter. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service (store and sync your data, and share it with caregivers you approve) as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Caremint is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for missed doses, missed reminders, or health outcomes arising from use of the App. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Changes

We may update the App and these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts of competent jurisdiction in India. If you are a consumer in the EEA or the UK, this choice of law and venue does not deprive you of the mandatory statutory protections (including GDPR / UK GDPR rights) of your country of residence.
